Looks great Matt, is there going to be any hardware on it like handles on the ends etc?
What kind of finish did you use on the Oak?
Is it just the pic, (my monitor?) or does the Cedar really look that purple?
Bet it smells nice and will be good storeage for them blankets, as well as a good place to sit and put your socks on  :D
Very nice, keep these good posts coming!
We are glad to have you here Matt!
Cheers!

Welcome Matt. Great looking blanket chest, and very timely. I hear it got to 22 degrees below in Angel Fire last night.
What part of New Mexico are you from?

It looks great Matt. I really like the dimensions and the nice finish. I bet that you can smell that chest from 20 feet away when you open it. Great job and welcome.
