3400 sq/ft, $899k price tag in Minneapolis. Too much painted stuff for my taste. I do like the floor plan, I'd consider copying it if I ever get around to building a new house.

I agree about the amount of paint, but that is really nice work. Any hint on where it's located?

Have you ever done any work on one of those Sarah Susanka-type houses?

Just north of the crosstown 8-10 blocks, one block west of Xerxes. This is the first one I've done for this builder. It was a model, as soon as it sells they'll be starting on the next one. Hopefully thats sooneer than later. I've got a feeling it'll move pretty quickly.

Kirk- No, they were painted on site with an oil based paint, and installed raw. Painted all by brush actually. Looks kinda cool with all of the brushmarks.

Larry- The master bath is Walnut. I do make all of my own doors/drawers. The slides are Blum 562H soft close undermount slides. Hinges are full crank 107* hinges using different height plates to accomodate the pockets behind the face frames.

Got a call today for another inset kitchen. Sounds like they want to go with beaded frames as well. I've been dying to do a big beaded job, and jack mitre it all together. I've got some odd ideas I want to try out and see if that speeds up the process any.
