two coats of Wind Song stain, dark walnut , a 30 minute dry time stain by ML Campbell, tinted to match Minwax stain chart. Then I spray two coats of sanding sealer, two coats satin lacquer. I used a Fuji Q3 turbine system.

Nice job Bryan. That would fit in perfect with my living room set. LOML keeps threatening to steal my mission style pop-up top coffee table. I'd like to build one along the style of yours if she makes good on her threat. ;-)

Beautiful job Bryan. You’re right, the grain in the top matched up beautifully. I think I would be a little concerned about using lacquer as a top coat for a coffee table. Lacquer is not very durable and is susceptible to damage from spilled drinks etc. JMHO

I was looking at the pics and suddenly LOML looked at my screen and said: "Ohhhh, so beautiful"...I think that I have a project for the next spring (I cannot work in the garage at the winter).
Beautiful work
