Ambrosia maple bowl

I turned this bowl from a blank of Ambrosia maple that my dear friend Ed Moore gave me before he died. I have several more pieces of his wood that I just hold in memory of all I learned from him.

My wife told me I needed to turn a bowl as a wedding gift for the next door neighbor's son. This was back in May and I am just getting around to doing something with the pictures. This bowl is about 2" tall and 10" in diameter. I like the undercut rolled rim.
