Does Stu still check in here? I recently watched a YouTube video he made where Stu had shown some set up jigs he made to set his grinder up to sharpen bowl gouges for different angles. The link he provided no longer works so I was hoping to find him to see if he still had the angle profiles still available anywhere? This is the video.
 
A somewhat different approach..


But I basically landed on the process that Richard Findley uses more or less independently (but he explains it much much better and his setup is a bit more posh). I kind of decided that platform sharpening had fewer moving parts so although it maybe had a slightly different learning curve in the end it actually seemed somewhat easier to me. Also it meant I can use "pretty close" to the same grinder setup for all of my tools which makes inter-tool setup a lot faster.

He has a series of reals here (basically you can click on each one to see the full video) that do a really good job of walking through it all.
