Started my love for wood working with my father. Upon his retirement he jumped into furniture making with both feet. I learned at his side as he picked lumber from the wholesaler to the last cut and finishing. His finest works were a set of what is called British campaign furniture. Furniture that was used by the British officers in their travels around the world. Rugged solid wood furniture with lifting rings, metal protected corners and locking draws. He made his out of mahogany. I own two of these pieces and my brothers the rest (6 total pieces). I inherited almost all his woodworking tools as my brothers had other hobbies. To date I have made many furniture items and remodeled our house. The kitchen remodel is still in it's final stages (looking to finish this summer (2012). One thing that I am always looking to do is push my skills to a new level with each and every project.
