The Collection is growing

Geez, Chas,
You make me want to set down my tools and give up! ;).

Thanks for the compliment but honestly they are not exactly a difficult task.

If you are referring to the repetition aspect then that's really a matter of making yourself some marking templates and proceeding in an organised manner for each piece. Once you have made your 'master' then set your depth gauges, callipers and noted blank lengths or thicknesses to enable a check with vernier dial callipers as you work up to a pencil line.

I have batch of simple table Coasters to do, will try and get some WIP pics of my method if it's any help.

Rob & Vaughn, with regard to the colour balance of the mixed woods I looked back at the original post showing the cup in use.

If I can talk recipients into buying the correct coloured Eggs then all should be well.:)

________

As an aside, the preferences shown are showing a different trend to those expressed in the UK, will post comparison after a day or so.

Some hens, Auaracanas, Legbars and Dorkings, lay blue eggs, what wood are you going to use for them Chas?

Well if I can't source some Blue Mahoe that's not lost its colour then I'll just have to use Green Wood.

Chas,
Great shots of the egg cups... I really like the cups, just don't like soft boiled eggs... prefer them either fried, scrambled or in a good omelette. Only way I like boiled eggs is in deviled eggs...
