Interesting community program

Wow! Here in Des Moines there is a group called neighborhood finance coop or something similar that I took a first time homebuyer class at a few years ago. They have a MUCH smaller list of tools available for loan with plans to expand it. Now they had to shift the focus on helping people facing foreclosure so I think the tool loan program is on the backburner for now....I was going to use a few of the tools when I bought my house but ended up just getting my own.

The one you point out looks great indeed...not only tools to lend but classes that teach you how to use them. Kinda suprised a local hardware store or a big box store aren't a sponsor, maybe the org wants it that way?

I have a number of tools that don't seem to be getting any action on C/L, as well as the list of books here that I think I'll contact them and see if they are interested since they are registered non-profit organization. I'm sure they can use a couple more new P/C routers.
