Welcome to the Family, Frank. The poem is very appropriate for a wedding or anniversary, and the present is beautiful! Jim.

Welcome Frank! Very nice work--and only your third turning? Keep the pictures coming.

Wellcome Frank, I like the mortar and pestle, made them a couple of times for presents too, but without a poem.

Welcome aboard, Frank. Nice job on the mortar and pestle, and I really like the sentiment of the poem.

A mortar and pestle was second thing I ever turned, way back in high school...after making a pair of nunchucks. My sister still has it.

    Hey, Frank,

You're not far away! But you need to post some pics of your shop! And your lathe!

Geez, we were just in Alexandria the other day, buying fireworks! Shhhssss... don't want to get busted for interstate transport!

Oh, and what's all this about Flaubert's parrot? Or is that a different Frank Townend in Alexandria? Geez, I didn't know compuserve was still around!

    Thanks,

    Bill

Looks like a cool shop with lots of nice work areas. I like the stainless steel sink, too.
