    sycamore bowl

This bowl is 9ins x 4ins with a wax finish and two burn lines for a bit of accent on the foot. Comments welcome.

John the bowl is a beauty. I do like the form. Well done.

John, I really like the form of this bowl. The lines burnt in add to it very well. Well Done.

It's tough to tell from the photos, but is the bottom hollowed a little too? If not it will add stability (from tipping over) to it, but I thought it might be less stable as far as cracking goes.

Bernie and Jeff thank you for you comments. Jeff the bottom is slightly dished to lighten the bowl the foot is 5 ins in diameter so hopefully it will not tip over, overall thickness is 1/4 ins and so far shows no signs of cracking.

Very nice, John. Different, but I like it. Nice lines and curves.
