I am slowly moving toward building a rolling base cabinet for my pen making drawer sets. These are 2 old blueprint drawer sections. I had bought 2 sheets of 3/4 birch plywood to construct with but figured out that I would need a lot more sheet stock to complete the project. I stopped at a local Menards store and noticed that their damaged sheet stock rack was about 4' deep. After talking to a manager I brought home. 5, 3/4" birch ply sheets one of which is baltic ply. I, 3/4" MDF core oak veneer, and 7, 1/4" mahogany ply sheets. All for $90. There is minimal damage to them. :thumb: Looks like I have no more excuses to put the job off. The last time I visited the same rack, the manager made me buy the whole bunk.:D Just thought I'd pass on the tip and gloat a little.
