After roughing out bowls for the last couple weeks I thought I would try something different. This hollow form reminded me of an appaloosa horse so that is what I will call it.

It is 8 by 5.5 inches and finished with Hut polish.

Pretty piece of wood Pete, and I love the form, but I'm not so sure about the neck/opening, is it all one piece?

I NEED to get back on the lathe, but I'm still trying to catch up at work after the vacation

Nice job Pete, well done form. What do you use for hollowing? Just curious what other guys use for hollowing. That should of been nice to do at that size. Mitch:thumb:

Stu,

I'm kinda shaky on the neck also but I am going to give it to a friend who I think will like it. It is one piece.

Mitch,

I use the mini rig from monster tools on my PM
