    First pens

    This is the first pens I have attempted. The first one is Purpleheart

    The finish is possible an overkill with ca glue, friction polish and carnuba wax.

    Looking very fine. Few first pens come out that well.
    Golf theme is very evident.
    Yes, the friction polish over CA is probably unnecessary. But, go with what works for you. Results are what count. And you got fine results.

    Those look great to me, John, especially for the first few off your lathe. The boxes add a nice touch, too.

    Vaughn I believe it arrived the same time as Tigar Woods but don't quote me on that My thing is fishing and it and I go back a long way thank you all for your kind comments you certainly help to keep me focused
