I've had some long days (and therefor short evenings in the shop) lately. Not having time to get into anything serious, I have started a list of "that's the last straw" items. We all have those cords or hoses we constantly bump into, the small item we can't find, etc.
I took care of the BS fence and such on another thread. This time I was digging for the right vacuum hose end . . . again . . . Checked my list; sure enough, that's one of the things that I have just about had it with.
Grab a 2 x 4.
Joint, plane and rip it.
Set up the circle jig (easy with this little storage/setting jig).
Cut a couple rings and screw on some old spray can lids dug outta the recycle bin.
Presto. No more digging.
