I stopped at the flea market and found this for $20. I'm not sure what I'll do with it but I figured for that price I couldn't go wrong.

Yeah, I'd buy that for $20, in a heart beat!

if the bearings are OK, and you get some stones on that, it will be really great. The nice thing about a belt driven grinder is you can set the speed where you need/want with different sized pulleys. :thumb:
 
Very cool. Looks like it was line shaft driven originally. Any brand names on there?

I am guessing but is it Babbitt Bearings? Looking at the bolts on top I am guessing it is.

No brand markings on it anywhere that I can find. it does have "No.1" on the front of the stand.

Not really sure what I'll do with it. I'm thinking I might take off the grinder and use the stand for my planer.
