    New Unisaw?

Just got an email with this link in it....I hope the hype is lived up to.

I know I'm setting my alarm to see the unveiling!

I don't know. I think I heard a little chip-out there at the end of that cut...

Bet it doesn't cut wood any better than my 1940 Unisaw. If only tools could talk I wonder what a 68 year old Unisaw would say.

Popular Woodworking has some more info on the new Unisaw in Glen Huey's Blog.

Interesting that they're only making it in left tilt models, after being 'right tilt only' for about 70 of the 80 years they made the older model.

After looking closer at it, seems to be a good saw from the pics and write up. Thanks for the link Jim. Wonder what the price will be?? I hope they don't screw up the pre ordering like I understand they recently did with a new drill or was it a bandsaw?
