Just found this thread.... I would want to know if any of these saws have a real riving knife? That's an important question to me. I was just looking at the woodwhisperer's website and he has a video from IWF in Atlanta that mentions that a lot of the new models of TS's out there now have real riving knives on them. But of course that may not translate into sales over there.
Good luck shoehorning it into your shop. I'm curious about your comment about a big redesign of the dungeon. you could turn the TS 90 degrees, to let you keep the longer rails. But that's no good if it severely limits your ripping ability.
