Do we have any new Neanders here in the Family?

Is there anyone looking to start out with a Stanley No. 4 plane to get a handle on fettling and tuning?

I've got a No. 4 that is looking for a good home with a new hand tool woodworker. It's an English made model, in good shape and relatively new and little used. I know very little (read: nothing) about planes so it's exact vintage I am unable to determine. If I had to guess, between 5 and 15 years old. However, as I mentioned, it is lightly used and in good shape.

Paypal me $5 for shipping and you can have this good starter plane. I"d like to send this to a beginner here in the Family as a way of helping them get started if we can folks. Is that okay?

Thanks very much.

I don't need it, but do commend you for your generosity.
BTW, I keep clicking on this thread because of the title:
"New Neander(thals)" Isn't that an oxymoron? ;)
Another BTW: What is, or how do you do a "fetterling"?
