    Turning stock

    Just wondering if anyone is intrested in some turning stock. I have tons of cherry and maple. If there are some intrest I will get some pics and post it in the sales section.

    I'd be interested in big pieces if they are nicely figured. I suspect the shipping would be a killer, but for the right pieces, it might be worth it.

    I might be interested. Where in NY are you ? It's a big state. How big are these pieces ?

    Well if you look on the map, I am down from Rochester and right of buffalo. I am working on thinning out some woods(75 acers) for a farmer in exchange for the wood and there are some trees up to around 25" that are comeing down. If I get the chance befor the weather turns there are three cherrys that are close to 30" across that need to be removed. Will try to get some pick this comeing week. I just want this wood to go to a good home and not end up rotting in the woods like many trees back there.
