    Sycamore box and cherry bowl

    The Sycamore box is 6ins x 2.3/4ins finished with friction polish

    The cherry bowl is 5.1/2ins x 2.1/2ins finish is carnuda wax

    The way I know this is cherry is the guy that cut it down used to eat the fruit from it. comments and crique welcome.

    The bowl photo is not that clear..............will do better

    Nice job on both, John. I'd also say the box is my favorite.

    I just got a few chunks of sycamore today from a tree the neighbor was taking out. I like turning it.

    Very nice!! Great job on the box, the bowl has pretty grain in it and I really like the outside wave.
    There are no mistakes in woodworking until you run out of wood.

    Thank you comments. I agree Vaughn sycamore is nice to turn and it can hold nice wee gems once you get into the wood
