    A Bowl by Matt Hutchinson

This is a bowl by Matt Hutchinson I was lucky enough to purchase from him.

I'm afraid my photograph doesn't do it justice, it is a beautiful work of art.

If you'll remember Matt had a posting about a show he had a booth in, and this bowl really caught my eye.

I contacted Matt and he sold it to me; it is now part of the permanent Frank Townend Collection. Thanks Matt!

Now that is really cool, a Family to Family deal

    Again Matt, nice bowl!

    Wow!

Nice job! For some reason, I really like that profile, with the wide rim.

Awesome for both of you, Frank for buying and Matt for making it!

Thanks Brent, it is a beautiful piece of transcended walnut, beautifully executed by Matt.

Thank you guys. I am very pleased with my acquisition and now I can truly say I have a $200,000 bowl in my collection. I am glad Matt posted his pictures, he is one of several master turners on this site.

    Quite Flattered!

Thanks everyone! And thank you Frank! I too am so happy to be a part of a Family to Family transaction.

Your comments are really encouraging, and you all have a wonderful way of empowering a person. I can't wait to get working on some art pieces I have been designing on paper. Y'all are awesome!
