    Amboyna Burl HF

    Been a long time since I've posted a HF. Here's a new piece.

    Amboyna burl HF. 3-5/8" x 1-7/8", finished with SAC and buffified.

    I may be lost but I'm making good time!

    WOW is right. Beautiful wood and a great job turning it. Your finish is great again. Wish I could get mine to look that nice.

    Great Job Neal! The contrast of the heart and sapwood is beautiful.

    I guess the temps are down enough for the first of 3 seasons of woodturning!

    That's a beautiful piece of wood. But, a lot of wasted pen blanks in that one.
