    avatar puzzlement

I know things are still getting de-glitched here, just posting this experience for the administrators FWIW.
I tried changing my avatar. Got two failure notices, even after reducing the size way below requirements. Gave up with intention of trying again in about a week.
But, when I went back to the forum, there it was.

    Frank,

Thanks for the heads up. Any chance of giving me a better description than just 'two failure notices'?

Can you try changing it again and see if it's still 'broken'?

    Thanks...

I put up the avatar and got message: "Upload of file failed."

Hey, if anyone can make it fail, Frank can!!

I think we can all expect a few more bumps here in the road, but in general, the wheels are back on and we are making time again!

Same message, "Upload of file failed."
    Same results.
    Oh, well.
