Lighthouse that works

This is a Lighthouse made from Maple and coca bola with a Manzanita burl base. The lines marked with the index and than carved to simulate stones.
the house has a light that works, its wired with a 9 volt battery and a small mini switch battery and switch is recessed in the bottom. Finished with Deft clear lacquer in rattle can.

That's a very cool idea Larry. Nice job on the lighthouse, and the manzanita base makes a great shoreline, too.

Simulating the shoreline with the burl is a great idea. Is that meant to be a Christmas present?
