Well, OK -- as of this post, he hasn't done it yet. But.....
I've been a Jimmie fan since he first cam up to the Cup series. Early on, it was frustrating to see a classy guy like him struggle on the track at times. He could seemingly be in control in a race, then shoot himself in the foot! Then, finally, the team caught fire and the rest is history. And, with just a tiny bit of luck today, Jimmie and his guys will really make history.
I'm watching all of the pre-race shows and will definitely be entrenched on the sofa for the duration of the race. LOML will be close by as will my other friends -- Jim & Bud -- gotta get my intake of grain today!
