    Ole Man and Bear Cub

    This Relief is my second attempt at this type of carving. I am still working on it every now and then. Just taking a break from it at the moment. Any comments welcome.

    Now that lil' cub is pretty cute! Great job on the carving. As I'm learning on most...well, some of my projects, practice does help, but I think for a second carving you did a fantastic job!

    thanks guys, appreciate it, its still a work in progress, if I ever finish it I'll post. I'd like to see a place for carvings as a catagory.

    man o man, that is some good stuff......hey...is that larry in the carving?

    How big is that, and is that basswood?

    Its approx 10"x13"x2" Its not this Larry. Thanks for the comments
