    Talking Walnut Box

I enjoy making cabinets the most, but when I don't have one I am working on I can't seem to stay out of my shop. So I look for some scrap wood and make what ever I can think of that I can give to someone. This time a small piece of Walnut was in my grasp. Making the keys for the corners and using a venere for the top was just a lot of fun. Also adding a accsent stripe near the bottom was a chalange. It's not that great but I have so much fun doing it and then even more giving it away.

Ron, that's an excellent use of scrap, if I ever saw one! I'm sure the person you give it to will appreciate having it to show off.
