    6" S&D Source in SoCal?

A search revealed that lots of folks have trouble (at first) in finding this stuff. Fortunately many members were able to help those in need.

Unfortunately for me, none of the suppliers were in SoCal. So, anyone have a lead on a supplier for 6" ASTM 2729 in Southern California, preferably the Riverside area?

hey glen try looking for the nearest plumbing supply or a company dealing in excavtion and sewer work near you.. then get the supplier they use.. they usually have a supplier dealin mostly in the sewer pipe for the big guys doing that kind of work.

Being Southern California, I'm sure that S&M is available and B&D are available, but S&D might be tougher to find.

    Sorry, I'm no help.

You lend credence to the quote that there is nothing wrong with So Cal that a rise in sea level coudn't fix.

    Sorry. I'm no help either.

Try this page. I have not purchased from them, but reports on the Clear Vue forum say they have the 6" S&D and a decent price. Also a good selection of fittings. http://www.horizononline.com/about_u...tml/California

As I always suggest, call it 6" thin wall drain pipe. The place I found mine at locally had no idea what SD2729 was, even though it is stamped on the pipe they sold me!! Jim

Jim, you are my new HERO. There is a Horizon warehouse about 6 miles from here. The prices are great and they keep bunches of the stuff on hand in an 'open warehouse' format so you can wander around and pick out what you think will work. Chuck answered the phone and couldn't have been a nicer guy. I'm going to stop by tomorrow for a look.

    Many thanks!
