    Some Ash, I think...

Over the past week I finished up 3 pieces from the same 1.5 foot long hunk of ash I found along the road this summer. It yielded a birds mouth bowl 5"X4", a winged crotch platter 9" X 3"and a closed form, 4.5" X 4". All retained the bark very well and the grain and hidden holes added quite a bit to make each piece unique. Finish is danish oil. Please let me know what you think.

Nice work, Jeff. I think the bridsmouth bowl is my favorite of the bunch.
