This is a recent piece done in curly maple and finished with Bush oil and Formby's Gloss tung oil finish. I don't usually have much luck with glossy but I spent some extra time and effort on this one so I could sent it to a friend on another forum for a secret santa exchange. I brought it in to the house where it's warm and put it under a plastic bin to keep the dust off.

Sorry for the lousy photo.:(

Thanks

I appreciate all your nice comments.

OK Vaughn, I left the size out on purpose to see if anybody would catch me. It's only about 2 1/2" tall:D.

I answered Dan's question in a PM.

And Larry, the vortex awaits you. You know you want it, just take the first step. The rest of us are here to catch you.:D
