    snowmen in a row

An in-progress little project idea I stole here from a fellow member.
Trying to make some snowmen. Wife said she would paint.
Using maple. Things went well for first two, then with some wood removed and two parted down to about a 1/4" in between top of hat and bottom of next snowball, the wood is getting flexy on me. Had hoped to do about six then part apart. Might not be possible. I'll try to finish #3 but if it's too flexy I'll take off 1,2 and 3 and finish the rest with a shorter piece of wood.

I don't remember seeing that approach yet. I just might have to try some of those myself. My spindle turning skills sure could use the practice.
