    Out feed table

Wow.... After seeing some of the set-ups for out feed tables I am very envious. My shop is to small for an out feed table so the best I can do is a couple of roller stands. I usually have to move my sheet stock onto a webbed table made of 1x2s and supported by saw horses (3) I use a Redline 105" aluminum edge that conects to my skill-saw and follows a track. A lot of work but it is acurate and I can do it myself. Sure wish I had the room for an outfeed table. But if you have carbide dato blades they will do an very good job on cutting the slots. A very small amount of your miter gauge goes into the slots anyway.
If you make a mistake it was part of the original plan!

Ron I've got an out feed table but still use about the same set up as you for breaking down sheet goods. (2x4's as grid screwed to 2 plastic saw horses)You just have a better straight edge than I do. I find it easier than wrestling a full sheet of 3/4 ply around the saw. Just getting too old I guess
    Aloha,

    What goes around, comes around.
