    Music (sheet) cabinet

A cabinet for holding sheet music. Walnut (unsteamed) with an oil finish (Tru Oil). Got a little more sap wood in there then I would've liked, but that's what I had.

Very nice cabinet Charlie! Sometimes I think a little sap wood adds to a project. That seems to be the case with this cabinet. It attracts my eye to look at the details of the piece.

Beautiful cabinet Charlie. Are the scallops carved in or raised? Hard to tell from the pic.

Charlie, that is very nice, and the hand carving sure sets it apart

I'm very OK with the sapwood as it adds character. LOML says some of my mistakes on my projects add character but, that is not the type of character I am talking about here. The cabinet looks great.
