    router base's

    are any of you folk out there got the bosch colt? and if so whats your take on a warner base for it? round or offset and why ?

    I went over to Pat Warner's site to take a look. I am thinking of picking up the offset and would pick up both, but I can't see where I could not use the offset for everything I would need it for. And why the offset? Just give me a little more control to avoid tipping. Thanks for the pointer to the bases.

    Larry I have the one from Woodhaven for my Colt. I use it for mortising hinges, works
    great

    Here's mine with Pat's offset. I love it. The Colt feels like a whole new tool with this base. I have the round one as well but have not used it yet.
