OneWay Chucks, Jaws, and Tools at Home Depot

Not sure if everyone knew the Home Depot carries (for Internet order) OneWay chucks, tools, and Jaws.

If the following link doesn't work, go the the HD home page and do a search for "OneWay".

Are they trying to turn into another Amazon.com?
Need to do something to avoid going out of business completely.

At least Amazon tried to be the price leader. But the HD price is hardly any bargain.
And the chucks are listed under I doubt their expert advice would add enough value to justify the high price.
Their Talon chuck complete with adapter is $285.
The price from Oneway direct for the same is only US$231.95 .

Hartville is having the Talon chuck with free set of #1 jaws is only $200, plus the $21.25 ($25 minus "woodnet" discount) insert with free shipping. That is a whole lot cheaper than HD price.

Hartville Tools is a top notch company to deal with.

The parking lot at our local HD is almost an embarrassment to look at. There are seldom many more vehicles parked there than would accommodate the employees. Lowe's stays busy.
BTW, local rumor has it that we are getting a Michael's. I'm skeptical that is true. I don't believe our market is big enough to support one. But, wadda I know?
