    spalted beech 7" high by 6" diameter hollowed through a 3/4" hole- wall thickness of 3/16"





    beech, 6" diameter by 4" high hollowed through a 7/8" hole wall thickness 3/16" hand carved - then ebonized- terrible to try to photograph!!

    Both pieces are beautiful George. 3/4" hole, ummm, not sure if I have a tool less than that in diameter...

    Hollow forms like this are on my to-do list too... about number 75 or so. LOL

    Those are superb, beyond my abilities to turn, but sure can appreciate the work it takes to create!! Love that spalted wood.
