    thats a very nice looking use for burl chuck,, bet that took awhile to get smooth.. no wonder kalea didnt like sanding ,,you probally made her sand the burl to get it that smooth nice job chuck

    Thats a great looking box Chuck. Is the box finished? The lighting on the picture makes it hard to tell but it could also be my eyes.

    That's one sweet box Chuck. Are you sure they don't make a jig yet to make square boxes on the lathe??

    Very nice. Beautiful figure.

    How did you cut the slots for the keys? And then how did you trim the keys to match the rest of the box? Maybe in addition to learning from my mistakes with the keyed miter joint I can also learn from another's success.
