    Quick Candle Holder

Mom was talking about a candle holder for her dining table. A trip to the scrap bin, the bandsaw and a forstner bit later.

Nice job Glenn! I think my wife would like something on those lines. Thanks for posting the idea.

Nice looking project--one of my favorite types, quick to do, little or no cost and really looks nice. Good job on this!

Thanks guys. It won't win any awards for artistic value but it was quick and easy. I imagine the nicer the wood the better this basic design might look. Kinda makes me want to try a few more creative ones ;-)

And here I thought this was gonna be a thread about holders for quick candles.

Nicely done, Glenn. Like Ron said, this kind of project can often be among the best. Quick, inexpensive, and appreciated.

    Hey Glenn

Thats a neat idea man. I think I will add a few holders to it and make one for Hanukkah this year for my neighbors. I know they would enjoy it. What makes your design so good is the simplicity.

I think with a scroll saw or fret saw one could cut patterns for shadows in the sides. mmmmm could get carried away with this little design.

    Nice work.
    cheers
