Just a little Bubinga bowl. 5-3/4" by 1-3/4". Pierced with a Dremel and engraving bits. Finished with Seal-A-Cell. The bottom was buffified with white diamond and wax.

Critiques welcome as always!

Very crisp detail Neal, a little over the top with the beading for me, the piercing would have looked even more dramatic in a plainer form in my eyes but as they say form is down to individual preference, finish is universal and you look to have nailed that in spades.

I think it's a great piece, Neil. Chas brings up a valid point about the beading...I wonder if less of it would show off the piercing more. On the other hand, your detailing is always very nice and clean, and a pleasure to see.

I sure am glad that you love doing this pierced stuff.

...Neal that is absolutely beautiful:thumb: I don't want to sound to ignorant but is there a particular function for this bowl or is it a piece of art?

Must...resist...spaghetti...strainer...joke...

Royall, I'd guess it's intended as an art piece, but there are ladies who'd buy it to fill with potpourri.
