Seems overpriced to me. I think that's a real old model that was from the pre-good quality days.

I think you're right, I'm not in the market for it, I have a HF clone of that, with a riser kit which works just fine, I just thought someone might want to know and negotiate it downward.

I bought mine used, already 'tuned up' so to speak with a 6" riser kit (from Grizzly) and a larger table. I've only used it for about 6 months now, and I still need to get it fully situated in my shop, but for what I paid for it it is a fine machine. Fit and finish are acceptable, it isn't a MinMax or a Laguna, but hey, for $150 it works quite well! If I were shoping for a new saw I would consider it, though I'll probably replace mine with a resaw machine someday, I'll still hold onto this one for light duty.

I had a 14" HF bandsaw, and I didn't like it. It was ok for cutting curves, but that's about it. The motor burned out resawing 3" thick maple. It never did resaw accurately or well. Obviously others have gotten better results, so maybe it was me, but I really did try to tune it up.
