Trying to find a new home for a Delta/Rockwell Radial Arm Saw Model 40-CL. 14" diameter blade (1" arbor), 5 hp 3 phase 440V. Crosscuts 24", and rips 36". $600. The CL (L stands for long) means that is has even larger capacities than the 40-C. Thanks!

RAS Pics

Well, just in case it helps, thought I would post some pics.

P.S. Also, these pictures show it with only a 12" blade, not the full 14" that is can hold.

I sure would like to have one of those, but unfortunately, you're too far away right now, AND, it just isn't in the budget yet. :( (why don't you post it this time NEXT YEAR)?:thumb::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I have that unit's newer baby brother (12" 33-890) and it is a great saw. The turret style carriage allows for some very extreme miter angles - I recall doing some 80 degree miter cuts for rafter truss pieces for Ned's shop on mine. Does your 14" model have a 1" or 5/8" arbor?

Hope you find a good home for it soon!

It has a 1" arbor. At this rate I may end up keeping it. The few nibbles I have had on it haven't amounted to anything. OH well, a good excuse to keep a sweet machine!

But right now it is still up for sale.
