Something for you Greene & Greene Enthusiasts - Not Mine!

THIS is posted on FineWoodworking. I wish I could do work like this. Maybe someday.

That is some beautiful stuff. I love the way that mahogany(?) takes the finish.

    That is simply gorgeous.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Gamble house about three years ago. It was a great experience. If you happen to be in Southern California then you must visit this place.

I also saw the Blacker house, but only from outside as it is in private hands. That same day I visited Jim Ipekjian's workshop. Jim has worked extensively in reproducing and restoring furniture at the Blacker house. I did take a few pictures at his shop. I will try to find them and post them here.

Its very attractive, no doubt, its wood, its fine woodworking, but I believe you can turn out work of similar quality.

Thanks Allen, perhaps someday if I keep practicing. In the mean time it's nice to have a cheerleader.

Rennie, I think that you are closer to that than you think Your chancel has nothing to envy to those.
    Best regards,

That's cool. I really need to go see the Gamble house, considering I live about 20 minutes away from it.

Um, Rennie...you're there already. If you decided to do it, that table is well within the limits of your skills and tools.

But doesn't mean that you can't keep on pushing them
