Is there a recommendation

Bart I went to the Windows web sight and "found Imageresizer" under "powertoys" It is very easy to use. Just high light all the images you want to resize and then right click on the selection. A window opens up and you just click on resize images. You'll get a get several "size" options to choose from. For posting on the web I convert them to the "Small" size. I'll look for a link and post it:thumb:

EDIT:

Here's the link Bart!

EZ Thumbnails

If all your wanting to do is resize photos. This is great tool. I use it all the time! Very versatile and you you can a whole folder at once of just one photo. I have to resize up to 50 photos at a time and keep the original photo too. Only thing is just remember to set your folder where it will save them too. I keep forgetting and then have to go 'find' the new photos.

I use PIXresizer, which is a free download from http://bluefive.pair.com/free95.htm. The only little problem is that it will not resave your resized pictures in the same folder, so you have to create a new folder for the resized pics. I haven't found this to be a major problem, as I download all my pictures into a "holding" folder, then the resized ones go into "holding2", thence to the folders where I want to keep them. This is the program that Vaughn recommends in his tutorial found here: http://workingwoods.com/fw%20tutorials/Posting%20Pictures%20on%20FW.htm. It's quick and easy (after the first time).

Bart, you've already got Irfanview, as I recall. Look in the File menu and check out the Batch Conversion/Rename option. It'll do what you're looking for and a whole lot more.
