It could have had scary consequences.
Maybe 10 or 15 years ago there were instances of wheels falling off of trucks in Ontario. Eventually the problem was traced to wheel studs that were sub-standard. The problem was corrected by not allowing foreign origin bolts for wheel studs.
Man just the thought of that scared me.

Wow, that man needs to go buy a lottery ticket. You can for sure tell where the break occurred. You can also tell that all that has been holding probably since the beginning is about 1/3 of the bolt.
