    Gibson Les Paul Robot

So I got to play with a Fender VG Strat at Best Buy one day (they have an "instruments" section of the store now) and I thought that thing was pretty cool and innovative. That was until I came accross THIS!

That's pretty slick. I like that they included intonation adjustment capabilities, too. Mix the Gibson technology with a Line 6 Variax, and you'd have the auto-multi-guitar/banjo/sitar/Dobro.

That is sweet!!! Maybe I would have learned to play better if I hadn't had to learn to tune by ear.

Well, it's been so long since I've played, it's like learning all over again anyway.

Man that's cool. If they could speed the motors up and add the appropriate control inputs I could see this taking the place of hip benders for doing pedal steel type effects. Very slick idea. Thanks for posting.

Quite cool, but, what will come after that? A contactless guitar like a Theremin?
    Best regards,

You see, this only shows how ignorant I am about music and electric guitars, apart from the most common brand names like Fender, Gibson and some others my knowledge is nil.
    Best regards,
