    My 6th turning

    And yes, Larry...it has inlay.

    Nice work, neat inlay. But, from photo, cannot get indication of size or proportion.
    What is it? Bottle stopper? Fly rod handle? Sumptin' else?
    Still nice.

    It's a bottle stopper. I am turning these to get used to my turning tools.

    as soon as i saw it i knew i was gonna get some grief now you need to give us a tutorial on how you do your inlay work dewey!!!! you can t get away with just showing us a pic of it and then not finish the job

    Ok,
    Next time I make one I will take some pics along the way.

    Just so all of you know, I put inlay or marquetry on everything... it is not just a tag line. I like to do things folks may have not seen before. This one was fun and new to me.

    That is a good looking stopper Dewey! The inlay will make it a one of a kind in any display
