    More English Spalted Beech

    Another one of them bowls that I don't turn that often.



    Outside dia. 10" inside dia 7". Spalted beech finished with wax polish

    Pete, as you may know, I like thicker bowls...this one is beautiful! Great form and that beech looks outstanding. Well Done.

    Very nice bowl Pete. As with Jeff I like the thicker bowls.

    Boy Pete, it's a shame you don't get any fresh wood in the UK. Seems like all you have over there is the old moldy stuff that's all stained and disfigured.

    Another great-looking bowl, Pete. (I knew when I saw it that Jeff would like it, too.)

    Something like this you mean?

    Steamed pear: 8 1/2" dia 6mm thick. (looks like plastic in my opinion. Glad I didn;'t pay for it) Lovely stuff to turn but really not my cup iof tea at all.

    Pete, you may be showing off but I like it. Those are some pretty pieces. I like the thicker beech bowl a lot. Nice shape and the wood sings.

    Pete, I'm just a little different I guess but I really, really like the pear bowl The beach is great too, but I lover the lines and the subtle color of the pear.
