    Curly Maple Bowl - In Progress

    Well, it's not done yet, but I am excited about this one. I have twice turned it, and will thrice turn and finish it in a couple weeks. Hard maple, 15.5" diam., 4" high.

    There is some great curl in that blank. You really found a good one there. Can't wait to see the finished product.

    Good to see you posting again, Matt. I was worried what with the economic crisis and all. I was afraid you'd sold your lathe or something.....

    BTW, nice looking curl in that piece!

    I'd sell my liver before....

    No, the lathes are intact. In fact, I am in the process of buying another lathe and other woodworking equipment. Gotta keep the professional woodworking dream alive!
