hello folks- its been a while since i've posted anything on here-"lifes just somthing which happens while your busy making plans" here are some of the burr oak hollow forms i've been working on recently.they are completely dry and oiled now.
i've included some before and after pics aswell so you can see the difference in form etc

George, the wood's movement makes these look great IMO. :thumb:

That's why burr oak is one of my favorites. Plus I can get plenty of it around here.
 
Man, they sure moved on you. I like that kind of stuff. Wet madrone burl is another one that's real prone to moving in bizarre ways.
