    Everybody's a critic

I was working on this little bowl yesterday. It has a lot of worm holes and a couple were through the side of the bowl. When I quit for the day I brought it in to show the wife and get her opinion about filling them. This morning I took the bowl back to the shop, realized I had forgotten something in the house and left the shop door open and the bowl on my work bench... I was gone five minutes. While I was in the house a little house wren flew into the shop, landed on my bowl and critiqued it..

The bowl looks nice to me. I'd say the bird has pretty crappy taste.

So, does this now count as a natural edge bowl?

Was it a wise old bird trying to tell you something?

Probably your own fault, did you leave a worm in those worm holes?
